Grace Orphanage
Grace Orphanage is home to approximately 30 orphaned or abandoned girls aged 3 through 17 years. The orphanage provides a nurturing environment where girls are ensured safe shelter, clothing, two meals daily, medical care, and an education at the Theophile School.
Located in Bon Repos, a suburb of Port-au-Prince, the orphanage dormitory was destroyed by the January 12, 2010 earthquake. Fortunately, all of the girls escaped the devastation unharmed.

The Grace Theophile School, employing 17 teachers, offers instruction for grades 1 through 10 for the children living at the orphanage and an additional 220 day students. The subjects taught include math, physical science, biology, social science, music, French, Spanish and English. Fortunately, the school structure was unharmed by the quake.
